Classic system requirements

Check the Mac, macOS, network, architecture, and printing requirements for BeFit Tracker Classic.

BeFit Tracker Classic 7.5 requires macOS 12.0 or later and includes native Intel and Apple silicon code.

What works locally

The bundled food catalog, search, folders, custom foods, serving calculations, nutrition charts, and previously imported personal foods operate from Classic’s local database.

When internet access is needed

Open Food Facts search and product retrieval require an internet connection and depend on that provider’s availability. Classic does not need a network connection for ordinary catalog browsing or for foods already saved locally.

Printing requirements

Classic uses the standard macOS print system. An available printer is needed for paper output; macOS can also save supported print output as a PDF.

Older preserved releases

The Classic release archive shows the minimum operating system and processor family found in each preserved build. A listed minimum does not guarantee that an old version will run on a much newer Mac.

Classic is Mac-only.

This app does not provide an iPhone or iPad version and does not synchronize with the newer BeFit Tracker.
